Welcome to the community of Loveland Ohio.
Northeast of downtown Cincinnati sits one of the area’s most sought after communities. Loveland Ohio is conveniently located just off of 275 at the Loveland exit and is surrounded by other great communities such as Indian Hill, Milford, Miami Township, Symmes Township, and Montgomery. Loveland is part of the fast-developing northeastern corridor along the Interstate 275 beltway. Complimented by older and newer homes, and both large and small neighborhoods, the Loveland area offers a wide variety of housing styles, with proximity to shopping malls and an easy commute to downtown Cincinnati.
The residential building boom began in the 1970s and continues to this day, with several new subdivisions, or extensions of existing neighborhoods, currently under construction. While diminishing land will begin to limit Loveland's housing growth in the near future, housing values remain strong and people throughout the area continue to seek out the homes here.
Settled in 1775, Loveland is home to many families who have relocated to the Midwest. These neighbors not only come from other states but many other countries as well. Corporate transferees are happy to find other families in their new neighborhood who are also just beginning to call Loveland home. There are also many residents who have lived here for 70 years!
Youth athletics and recreation are a large part of Loveland's lifestyle. Cyclists and runners are common sights on the streets due to proximity to the bike trail, and youth soccer, football, and baseball league games are played frequently in Loveland's many parks.
Speaking of the bike trail, this is one of Loveland’s most famous landmarks. This trail system starts in Anderson Ohio and extends many miles north. 70 miles of the paved trail system are sometimes referred to as the Little Miami Scenic Trail. The trail system is much larger and connects to many other regional trails throughout Ohio.
Along with biking and walking, residents enjoy canoeing right from the Little Miami River. There is even a canoe and kayak rental facility right here in town!
You don’t need to go to Southern California to play competitive volleyball. At Grand Sands here in Loveland, they bring the beach to you with recreational to competitive levels of volleyball action.
The park system is great here too. In addition, there are many great events sponsored right here in town like the Loveland Art Show and the annual 4th of July and Memorial Day Parades. There are more than 10 parks for residents to enjoy. See map of parks.
The shopping and restaurants are also a real treat here. Historic Downtown Loveland is full of quaint shops, eateries and places to waste time. Whether it is day or night, you will find something going on downtown. There are also several other business areas throughout Loveland that residents can enjoy with strip malls and grocery stores. Most of the business owners live and work here and are as friendly as they get. There is a great variety of businesses from antique dealers, equestrian supplies, arts and crafts, a hometown hardware store, chiropractic and massage therapy, and more!
At Eads Fence, the customer is always first and is treated with the same customer service that you would expect from an old fashioned small town store. The owner is often on hand to give you advice. This is just a small example of the atmosphere here in this town!
Prices range from $80,000 for older, smaller homes, and climb upwards of $600,000 for new 4,000 square foot homes on half acre lots.
In general, people find Loveland to be a great place to live because of the laid back friendly atmosphere. The convenient location, recreational attributes, strong housing market, and top-ranked school district all make Loveland a great place to live!
